Power generation is a term used to define electricityproduction using different kinds of expertise. In a turbine generator, a movingfluid usually water, steam, combustion gases, or air pushes a sequence ofblades mounted on a rotor shaft. The force of the fluid on the bladesspins/revolves the rotor shaft of a generator. The generator, in turn, convertsthe mechanical (kinetic) energy of the rotor to electrical energy.
